What counts as an emergency service call
If your system has failed outright — not a slow drip or a noisy fan, but a real loss of function that affects safety, comfort, product, or revenue — it's an emergency. We treat those calls ahead of routine work, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Below is what we typically dispatch as emergency, broken out by trade. If your situation is on the list, call the 24/7 line above and a real person picks up. If you're not sure, call anyway — we'll talk you through it and dispatch if it's warranted.
HVAC emergencies
- No heat (winter) or no cooling / AC out (summer)
- System blowing warm air when set to cool (or hot when set to heat)
- Thermostat failed or unresponsive
- Refrigerant leak — hissing, oil residue on lines, ice on evaporator coil
- Burnt wiring smell or visible scorch near the air handler / outdoor unit
- Carbon-monoxide alarm going off — shut the system and call us immediately
Solar emergencies
- System fully down after a storm, hurricane, or roof impact event
- Inverter showing an error / reporting offline — production lost across the array
- Arc-fault detection event (rapid shutdown trigger) — safety, fire-prevention reason
- Damaged wiring or conduit from a roof event (falling branch, animal damage, leak)
- Rapid production loss — usually a tripped breaker, blown fuse, or damaged combiner
Refrigeration emergencies
- Walk-in cooler down — product temperature climbing
- Walk-in freezer down — frozen inventory at risk
- Ice machine offline (commercial kitchen / HOA pool house)
- Reach-in temperature spike that won't recover
- Leaking refrigerant — compressor short-cycling or icing
If you can hear us in 90 minutes: trust, certified, local, 24/7. We carry common compressor, contactor, capacitor, and inverter parts on the truck so most emergency repairs are completed on the first visit. If a part needs to be sourced, we stabilize the system and return as fast as the supplier window allows — usually same or next business day.
